There are 2 ways to select the recipients of an email:
Groups, Lead Activations, Labels
You can send an email to a selection of Group(s), Lead Activation(s) and members with a certain label.
Or:
Custom Audience
You can select a custom audience. A custom audience has a set of filters, based on which a selection of your audience is filtered.
